After a career in the travel industry, I ended up in the financial services industry 25 years ago. I have seen many different sides of it, from investment advice to management, but my passion has been in mortgage advice, especially for Expats. Instead of guiding Dutch people to travel abroad, I’m currently helping people from abroad on their “journey” to their home in The Netherlands.
I worked at ABN AMRO for 25 years. The last 7 years at International Clients. Here I have helped hundreds of Expats working for many organizations. I worked at our in-house offices at EPO and Shell. I am specialized in the net income and working conditions of employees of International Organizations such as EPO, EMA, ESTEC, EUROPOL and all the other International Organizations.
I have always enjoyed the personal contact and interaction that comes with working with clients, and I believe that this is an essential element of providing excellent service. That is one of the main reasons why I have decided to start my own business.
Lifewise
As the daughter of a Shell employee, I have moved regularly, but have been living since 1995 in the historic fortified town of Brielle under the shadow of Rotterdam.
In my free time I like to walk in the forest or on the beach and do sports (because it’s healthy…).
My hobbies include visiting my favourite football club to watch live matches and cheering on my team. I also love cooking and trying out new recipes in the kitchen. In my spare time, I enjoy following Formula 1 racing and keeping up with the latest developments in the sport. Whether I’m at the stadium, in the kitchen, or following a race, I always find a way to indulge my passions and have fun. I don’t travel enough but getting to know other countries and cultures is great fun.

I have spent the last 15 years of my career at ABN AMRO, working in various roles within ABNAMRO bank. In total 20 years of experience in the financial industry, gaining knowledge along the way. As a mortgage advisor, one of the most rewarding aspects of my job is working with international clients. I take great pride in helping people from different cultures and backgrounds achieve their homeownership goals. I understand that international clients may have unique needs and concerns, and I am committed to providing the highest level of service and support to ensure that their mortgage process goes as smoothly as possible. I am knowledgeable about the specific regulations and requirements that may apply to international clients, and I am always ready to go the extra mile to help them succeed. After many years of working for others, I have decided to branch out on my own and start my own business. I am excited to take this new step in my career and to have the opportunity to serve my clients in an even more personalized and focused way.
Lifewise
I was born in Indonesia and raised in The Netherlands. At this moment I live in a small town near the sea with my family and our Beagle. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, especially walking on the beach. I also enjoy playing point and click adventure games, which I find to be a great way to relax and unwind after a busy day. I love making family videos and composing electronic music in my spare time. I am proud to say that my two daughters are now in high school. It seems like only yesterday that they were starting kindergarten, and now they are well on their way to becoming young adults. Overall, I am very grateful for the rich and diverse experiences that my background and my life in the Netherlands have given me, and I am always looking for new opportunities to learn and grow.
European Patent Office
After both having worked for many years in the in-house ABN AMRO office in EPO (European Patent Office) in Rijswijk, it was time in January 2023 to start our own business as independent mortgage advisors in collaboration with Wouters and van der Velde. We are familiar with all the international organizations, net income of EPO employees, your allowances, the different types of employment contracts and the possibilities to obtain a mortgage, the EPO Homeloan, the pension schemes such as the Salary Saving Plan and the other employment conditions. Therefore, we understand these extra benefits and conditions. In comparison to other consultancy firms, we can use our knowledge and experience for your mortgage application.
We can fully assist you in applying for, increasing and/or changing your mortgage. We can still offer ABN AMRO mortgages, but also, if this suits your situation better, many other providers.

How we work
INTAKE
First, we have a free consultation with you to discuss your financial situation and mortgage goals. This involves reviewing and assessing your current financial situation. Your financial inventory includes reviewing your income, savings, debts, and knowledge and experience and eventual history with mortgages and other financial products.
RESEARCH
Once we have gathered all of the necessary information from you, we will carefully analyze it to determine your financial standing and your ability to purchase a suitable home.
Based on this analysis, we will come up with our best recommendations and present them to you. This will give you a good understanding of your options and help you make an informed decision about buying a house.
PROPOSITION
Obtaining a mortgage proposition is an important step in the process of buying a home. We will work closely with you to ensure that you feel confident and comfortable with your mortgage decision. Once we have all of the required information, we will find the best mortgage product to meet your needs. This includes comparing rates and terms from different lenders to find the most favorable option.
